Role Call

Stop searching. Let the jobs come to you.

We review every job posted on 20,000+ company websites so you don't have to. We find the jobs that are worth your time, and we email them to you. Fast.

For mid-career and senior knowledge workers in the United States.

An animation of a phone: a Role Call email arrives listing three job matches with salaries and summaries. Tapping one opens it as a match card showing the match score, salary, what you'd love about the job, what might give you pause, and what the application asks for. The card then gives way to the full list of matches waiting for review, the opened job among them.

What stood out to me about it was the relevance of the suggestions I was getting. You also get the job posting almost in real time. I was actually the first applicant to get a recruiter call for one position I applied to through Role Call.

Don't take our word for it.

I got a job! This was one of the positions Role Call flagged for me. You've created a really useful and unique service, and it's helped me discover opportunities I likely would have missed otherwise.

Free job boards aren't really free.

Free job platforms make their money from companies, not job seekers, so they're built to serve company interests. As the saying goes, “If you're not paying for the product... you are the product.” Role Call doesn't work for companies. We work for you.

Hi, I'm Laurie.

Founder of Role Call. Data nerd. Glad you're here.

If you're reading this, I don't have to tell you that the job market today is a nightmare. Between AI resume farms and AI recruiting farms, it can feel like we're all in a white-knuckle race to the bottom.

I've always been someone who's great at finding jobs, so when I left my role as Director of Strategy & Analytics at Kickstarter, I thought it would be easy to find something new.

Wow, was I wrong.

I would spend hours scrolling LinkedIn, reading job descriptions so long they make 19th century Russian literature look like an Instagram caption, digging through the sea of slop to find one or two jobs that didn't look like they'd make my soul leave my body. But of course, by the time I found those uncut gems, they were already weeks old.

I knew there had to be a better way. So I built one.

This is it.

Common questions

What kinds of jobs does Role Call have?
Role Call has jobs for US-based mid-career and senior knowledge work professionals (jobs you mostly do on a computer). We match candidates with jobs from over 20,000 companies, including big names like Anthropic, NPR, New York Times, and Notion, plus nonprofits, small businesses, government agencies, and fast-growing startups.
How many matches will I get?
We review more than 125,000 job postings per week, about one every 5 seconds. But how many of those postings turn into matches depends on your preferences and your background. Set your preferences strict if you want fewer, more targeted matches; set them broad if you want more options to review.
What happens after I sign up?
Set up is free. You'll start by setting your job preferences, then answer a career-discovery questionnaire about your strengths, interests, and ideal environment. Upload your materials, and pay for your first billing period. We'll start matching you within 72 hours (usually much sooner), and your paid period starts then. From then on, new matches usually land in your inbox within a few hours of the job being posted.
How does billing work?
Choose how often you're billed: $19/week, $59/month, or $149/quarter (the longer plans save you money). It's a subscription, so it renews automatically, but you can cancel or change your billing frequency anytime from your account settings, and the changes will take effect when your current billing period ends.
Why isn't Role Call free?
Because ‘free’ job platforms aren't really free. They're paid for in money by employers, and they're paid for by you with your time. When employers are the ones paying the bills, that's how we end up with ghost jobs, recruiter scams, and resume farms. Role Call has no employer side: you pay us, so we work for you.
